Hello!
Because I don't own Half-Life, I was wondering if I could play BrainBread with Counter-Strike (1, not Source!). I have all the files needed to play because Half-Life downloads automatically although the preloade is complete but the game is not "100% ready" so I can't launch it. Can someone give me an answer please?

You know I would say that this should work actually.
CS1.6 is indeed a standalone game now, and having all half life files is a plus.
I would say that you should go ahead with test this.
Just in-case it would give you problems check to see if it setups like this..
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\USERNAME\half-life\brainbread
so something similar.

This might be a bad example sense its a source example however Gmod 10 says you need ether HL2 or CSS or DoDs to run and not just HL2. Standalone should theoretically work.

I installed BrainBread into my Counter-Strike folder, but when I launch Brainbread with the shortcut created on my desktop, it launches Counter-Strike and not Brainbread...
