i looked for sometime but i found no forms about so here it goes my first problem i have is that when im connected to my router i can get any games to show up...my second one is that i cant get into most games it says this steam account doesnt own this game any help out there?

Firstly, can you elaborate on your problem, apple? I assume you are talking about steam, however you mention that "when im connected to my router i can get any games to show up" I'm afraid I do not understand this part.

my bad i cant get anygames to show up in the list but when im on my modem or however its spelled its perfect

Ok, the router part. He is saying that when he is connected to his router, he can't see any servers. And when he can see the servers, it says he doesn't own the game. So.... My guess is you need to port forward your ports. So, go here, http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm , find your router, and then go under H, and select half-life steam. Follow the instructions. Annnnnd, to your second problem.... I don't really know, other than the fact you don't own Half-Life 1?
