Yeah, been having some issues with BrainBread v1.2. The first couple of times I downloaded it, it crashed and said something about error reading client.dll, so I figured I would play a few half-life games and see if that created the neccessary file or whatever. Then I redownloaded it (this time being the 3rd or 4th time), and now the screen comes up but then it crashes and says something about "Debug assertion failed", and then it shows the "Valve/steam/steamapps/my user name/half-life/hl.exe". I then reinstalled it 3 more times, but still no luck. Any ideas? I'd really appreciate some help. Oh, I've been downloading the BrainBread v1.2 Windows Client FULL from this site, through the File Front host, if that helps.

Try downloading it from a couple of different mirrors.

Ok, so I FINALLY got it to work, tried so many mirrors I don't even know which one ended up working, but I got it to work.
