Hey there, I was browsing these forums and I see a lot of people talking about user created contents like maps.

I happen to be a big fan of map editors and the like, and I have done some looking around, but it doesn't look like anyone has posted anything showing how to create maps. Based on what I have seen, it looks complicated, but that usually doesn't stop me.

So if anyone knows of a guide someone has posted or information on the topic, I would be glad to know.

Thanks,

Matt

Not really the section, but if you havent even mapped before or dont know what tools to use, You MUST have a source engine base game (Half-Life:2,Counter-Strike:Source.etc) to beable to map for brainbread.

To get you started on making your basic maps i would look HEREhttp://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Category:Level_Design For beginning to map on the engine.

Hope this helps a bit.
