1- The marines should throw grenades.

2- There should be marines covering barricades and marines following you to help you in the mission.

3- There should be a "MEDIC" marine laugh.gif

4- You should press the USE key on a marine and it will follow you, if you press again the click the marine stop following you.

Unless your playing around about "medic" marines there are alot of them if this is your first game you are going to play I feel ashamed please there is medics in all main seller games and some 3rd party hahahahah whatsw the smile there for too? blink.gif '

1) Grenades would make marines too powerfull. As soon as a considerable zombie force would have come together to finally overrun the marines, they'd all go boom. Also this would make marines conducting their traditional *lays down grenade at his feet- starts running around in circles yelling "GRENADE!!!"- and finally stops above the grenade which blasts him and everyone around into bloody chunks*-routine.

2) That's what other players are supposed to do... unsure.gif

3) A medic is kinda useless because medpacks for players are plentifull and marines respawn fast enough.

I have played: NS, Dod, Sven co-op, DC co-op, Cs, OF, They hunger, TS, Action half life, Paroxism, ESF, And more mods of Half life and much more games of action.

A squad of terrorist with AK47 are more dangerus than some zombies, in CS the counter terrorist not wait in barricades, they go to the danger

Think about what good the marines do at the barricades... They frag a lot of zombies, and they get overrun still. Also consider AI and the insta-spawn zombies. 1 Marine (or more) might get hung up staring at a spawn an literally camping the same damned zombie until some other walked corpse puts a hole in his neck. Marines do way more good at the barricades than running around.

... And also consider that this is a GAME, players are supposed to do the job, not AI. The hard stuff is reserved for the humans. While I personally would like to see marines run in some places, it only works in restricted instances, it works better when they would have a waypoint or impassable area that they run on, like a rooftop or a freeway overpass, have them spawn and have to run to their barracks or some other 'safe' landmark. I've seen marines go beyond their barricades from a bug... They don't last long.

Marines are very helpful in this mod, we don't need to make them more so or try to.

No grenades...

Marine's shouldn't be that good at all.
They just need to be there to distract the zombies...
That's all.


Medics aren't really usefull in this game.
I mean if you get bitten you're a zombie.

It would make it so people could go around killing too many zombies and then just meding it up by camping.

Sucky.

There would be no turning points on who would be the leader of the game because it would all be about who could stand in the most infested area, instead of whoever watches where they are.




Cause if you stand in a hugely infested area...
Then you'll eventually die.

But if med kits are in,
you'll be able to stand right next to the marine, and take out zombies...
And since weapons and ammo appear next to the marines, there would be unlimited ammo.

the medic was in opposing force so that it would add another feeling to the game, namely to lead a squad. and instead of leading a squad of just soldiers they added a engineer, and a medic. especially to add to the army feeling.

but the guy was pretty much useless. ive shot quite a few when not vital to the story.

Yeh.

And meding would seriously take away some game strategy.

And if you never noticed,
BrainBread does alot better than Sven on the Steam Charts.
