Greetings all,

I have the perfect map that could be used, just it needs to be redone, then again maybe it needs to be deleted. Its a work in progess for a learner like myself. Only problem is I made some changes that created leaks, however, I'm sure I can fix those as I know where I did the changes.

I know another good level layout that could be thought of, it is "The Dead City" from Pain Killer. Layout was cool, level was HUGE, weird dead people that would jump from the tops of buildings to the ground, go splat, then pull themselves together again to fight you.

Anyways, here is my work on the port of this map. The last version I did, I was working on a subway and was in the process of working on an underground maintaince tunnel to the church, also extended the graveyard abit, plus fixing the insides of the church. Could easily be switched over to BB: S, or BF or whatever they are calling it these days. I'm sure this map would be perfect, as it can be extended and revisied. Even replace the old bb_uc1_chp4_cemeterytrouble map?

This map was mainly a NVG dependant map for css.

Also when you port a map, every texture in that map is defaulted to notexture(white), and most entities are broken and need to be deleted or updated.

In its CS 1.3 days, it was called cs_church, then was updated to cs_church2 by some creator of this map. I decompiled the map and then started to work on a updated version for CS 1.6, however do to the limitations of the quake engine, I couldn't do what I wanted to do, so I ported it to the havok engine and went at it. The map has issues in the main church area. Everyone suffers major FPS drops, I think because of the size of that area. It should be fixable if the church side windows are sealed. But I do have working compiles of the different versions of that map. Those are the last working compiles since my last work on it. Considiering what I wantted to do with it is way out of my level of mapping.

If a map has already been released and a mod uses it, it is no longer original to that map and depreciates the value of the mod.

Also we have mecklenburg civvy, which is technically a TS map...

This is what Ive said for the past couple months every time has requested source: BB source is highly unlikely because the mod team (Ironoak) has decided to use the crystal engine to create an rpg, although they have said there is a small chance of going to source but please, for the sake of all mankind, do not request a port and/or create polls, or even useless threads about the porting of BB, because it is most likely not going to happen, thank you for reading.
