I dont know why it is doing this it is starting up just Half-Life. It is like a second shortcut to it or something. Did I install it wrong or i dont know what i did. I NEED HELP!!!

I've had this problem before. Does it do this everytime you try to play BrainBread?

If so, a reinstall may be in you future.

If it does it sometimes, then just start BB once or twice, and the BB screen will come up instead of the HL screen.

yep, it means you haven't installed BB correctly, or are linking to it incorrectly. Reinstall BB, and make sure your link to it has "-game brainbread" in the command line.

Im having the same problem...but I don't know what you mean renegade, im stupid, what do you mean command line???

open up the properties of the shortcut and it should look like this

"C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\(your name here)\half-life\hl.exe" -game brainbread


if you used a standered install

WEll, Would it have mattered if i used a Steam cs install ???

And What Am I sopposed to edit??

And I did all of that but, I still load normal Hl...I know I installed it right, by just extracting it into my hl folder in steam apps.

did you use the installer?

The download didnt have an installer >.>

re-download it then, you need the install using the .exe
