I'd like to preface this by saying I think this mod is a blast, regardless of any changes.

So far what I've read of what others have suggested is:

1) make zombie mode a bit faster and more fun
2) modulate the amount of ammo and weapons a bit perhaps
3) somehow randomize or modulate the way zombies spawn so perhaps it's not as repetitive
4) make the skill system more effective

My take on it is that all of these could basically be server variables .. e.g. "firepower capability: few, normal, alot", etc. to tailor it to each server's taste. I personally think it might be fun to play a map with perhaps fewer (or more time between spawn) zombies, and fewer weapons. That way there is a chance of progression and teamwork to achieve map objectives, as well as a risk of jeopardizing them. There's nothing like turning around and realizing you are cornered by zombies and hearing the 'click click' of your trigger smile.gif - requiring teamwork and covering fire.

i agree on the skills, maybe do something akin to the firearms skill system. Or where your character adheres to certain disciplines that improve his chances of survival.

like he said about faster zombies, except maybe make them run but one shot and i mean just 1 shot to the head kills.

you can control some of this by using sv_difficulty

point 1) won't be changed, as we had the problem that everyone wants to be zombie and then the spawncamping/killing starts which really sucks for everyone.

We'll change the way you gain ammo for the next patch.
