I recently downloaded BB and after installing, the game will not play! When i choose a map and click Start, the loading bar appears. Just as it stated connecting to server, it disappears and it just sits back at the menu. No errors or missing files, just pure strange. Any suggestions?

That happened to me the first time I installed the game. Have you tried reinstalling it? That's what I did, and it worked for me.

Is your Firewall already configurated to allow connections associated with BrainBread?

Hmm, my firewall doesn't block BB. I have allowed it to run. Oh, and i also get this error in the console:
Starting local server... LAN servers are restricted to local clients (class C) Does this matter with the firewall im using? If it is, what files should i unblock? This post has been edited by UserU on March 06, 2008 07:30 am |

I have no idea, sorry. If you update all your drivers (video, sound, processor, motherboard BIOS) and re-install brainbread, you will probably be able to play perfectly. However, this is a general fix to most problems, and takes a bit of time, so I don't know what else to recommend I'm afraid.

Oh, its ok. I though this forum might be inactive or something. If there is no other solutions for this, ill try to update the whole system. Thanks anyway.

Hi, No this shouldn't have to do anything with your problem, it's normal that way. Just make sure every program directly related to BB (like STEAM, HL1) is unblocked. Otherwise delete BB completely from your system, maybe download it from another source and install it again. If that doesn't help, do what Sdwboss already wrote. -------------------- |
