Seeing those pictures of what could have been made me almost cry on the spot--it is most unfortunate that BB:S had to fall through... but damnt--I don't see why devoted fans like myself and others who have nothing but free time can't work off of whatever progress was made and at least make an effort to somewhat get this game up and running? Or something!! Damn't--this is one MOD that must be finished *Hate to see it have to die... >:_(

First post in april month on this thread.
So, are you going to work on BB : S (Avoiding smileys) seriously or are we getting hyped up for nothing?
I'd love to see a new BB game but it doesn't seem to be so much stuff going on.

Well, if work starts on BB:S again, I'll try and contribute what I can. With classes nearly over, I'll be able to put some actual time into working on mapping and whatnot soon.

The game's development is halted since pretty much the team fell apart at an early stage. Everyone else just quit after that.

*coughs and raises up head*

I still have pretty much all the custom content, weapons, beta tests and stuff, plus a shitload more experience since the days of BBS although to be fair i've probably forgotten a lot of that as I haven't modded source for a while but...

hmm... if we could get a half decent team together I'd be interested in re-picking it up.

I think the main problems we had was that we were trying to do too much at once, we had a lack of decent workable maps. although having said that, the weapons worked well. It was so much fun having to manually pump shotguns between blowing zombies away...

So yeah.. consider me interested. I don't currently have any other projects on the go and want to get back into weapon animation.

so yeah.. who else would be up for a resurrection?

If work starts back up, count me in.

If work on BB:S undergoes being done again (hopefully), perhaps there should be some way to motivate the team--i.e. donations!? (if there isn't already) Sh*t I too would contribute 3rd party maps if ever a finished product was to be... *IwillEDITthisPost EVENTUALLY!*

They'll definitely get started.... once they find a decent team to work with. Looks like chances for that are slim, unless they're already lookin' for them... then we'll see a game reanimate into a real ZOMBIE.

Is this actually gonna' happen? I'd like to be a concept artist if ya' need one.

It will surely happen if there are actual modelers, coders, mappers, etc. willing to join. All I would like to do is give suggestions and ideas about what to expect (I've already put it out there in the BB:S suggestions forum).

Here's my concept for a new "Barney" model for BB:S. Just to make him look like an actual cop.

I fell into a hole. And want to, no, need to do some game design work. I'll learn modeling and texturing as needed, but I've always been a map designer. I'm gonna be looking around for tutorials on modeling/texturing and programs for em soon. I'll def put my free time into working on this.
