Guysguyssss, right now I'm so much into music that I lack an IPOD or something.
Right now I'm really really into Between the Buried and Me and Incubus. Anbody heard of Between the Buried and Me? They're pretty underground because of their unique music.... progressive metal! They're a great band, coming from many other bands, and having many influences.(Pink Floyd for example) So if anybody is familiar with them, post here! Other than that, post your current music that you've been listening to for the past day or so. It's so colorful... from their newest Album, Colors. If you're into Metal, you should check these guys out and let me know how their music is. I can't handle their older stuff, since he screams differently. Let's just say it's much much heavier for me and their current stuff is good for me. Anyway, post on!!! Check BtBaM out. When I aint listening to Speed garage/soul/reggae, which I don't think anybody will like, I listen to alot of rock/classic rock and metal.
This is what I've been listening to alot past couple of days. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CB17uWuBrL0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3QI_lQjf1eo Listen to them both all way through, Zombie, if you love Rock, you'll love these. -------------------- |

Dude!!!!!! Both of them.... awesome!!!! I really enjoyed Fight the Good Fight since it had lots of insane riffs and the drums are superb. The other one, Carry on Wayward son was effing cool, the dude was multi-talented with many instruments. But I did love them both and they are awesome. I'm not an avid rock-n-roll guy but I can stand them.
Now, check out some of mine! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=STh01Fwb6-M Mordecai by Between the Buried and Me. If you can't stand super heavy stuff and gibberish vocals(you'll see) then you shouldn't listen to this... but if you do, you'll be rewarded in the end of the song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=19UZd_DKs2Q&feature=related Selkies: The Endless Obsession by Between the Buried and Me. Now this, this is so dang amazing... epic would fit this. No, maybe more than that... but yes, I enjoyed this song. Well, there you have it. The first two songs that got me so into Between the Buried and Me. Now, excuse me, I'm going to indulge in this here song Selkies then some Alaska after that. Check em out! -------------------- Current game(s): Uh uh not updatin' this no mo

Glad you liked them. If your into the heavy stuff, they won't be great for you. The first song I can't listen to, cos of the country I'm in, meh.
Between the Buried and Me - Selkies: The Endless Obsession At first, I didn't like this. I thought it sounded like all other heavy metal songs out there, but after a while, the song took a turn. It's actually a very nice song, a little heavy at times, but it compensates for that. Cool song, changed my view on heavy metal. This is about the heaviest I go. (Cos I love rawk!) Serj Tankian - Lie Lie Lie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GbN9EXYTGnA System of A Down - Chop Suey / BYOB http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdRd3k4CIAg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3Az7JPZ6ZA Listen to them tell me what you think and show me some more of yours. -------------------- |

Serj Tankian... vocalist of System of a Down!! I actually listened to them from the start, but I stopped in 2003... I didn't feel like listening to them anymore for some reason.
Lie Lie Lie was pretty weird... but it's still good. Something you'd expect from Serj Tankian. It was great, had a System of a Down vibe... it's because of Serj's voice. Herherher Is that like, his solo career? And now, Chop Suey.. I remember loving this song back in 2000 or so, just a long time ago... it's a great song. I always love hearing it then after that, Aerials... now that song, it's so nostalgic for some reason. B.Y.O.B is awesome!!! It's a cool song, it was as if they never changed throughout all that time... they still sound the same to me. Gah, they are awesome. Now I remember what album I had, it was Toxicity. Ohhhh, and the song was great too. Wow, thanks for bringing back System to me Civ. Anyway, I got pretty long and insane songs... if you can't really stand them then just listen to one of them or something. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yEWBdAJDc-Q Sun of Nothing by Between the Buried and Me. Now, one of my all time favorites from their album. I always listen to it for that certain part in the song that makes me happy... find it out yourself. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWNMMuQzm-A&feature=related Prequel to the Sequel by Between the Buried and Me. I got so into this song a few days ago... it's pretty great. Heavy, but yes, awesome. Okay, now I'm off to listen to Toxicity and Aerials by System. -------------------- Current game(s): Uh uh not updatin' this no mo

Well the first one, again, I couldn't get into it. But from about 6:40 I loved it. This is a strange band for heavy metal, they have a variety in their songs. The second one was decent, didn't catch me so much.
I'm going to totally switch the genre now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hajBdDM2qdg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fT1Sa91N75E http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZMypLiZwRtQ Try and listen the first two through. -------------------- |

Okay, I loved the first two but I couldn't get into the last 1... for some reason. I just can't. First one(I really can't recall the name now) is nice, I felt somehow nostalgic even though I never lived in that time period. Anyway, let's see what other music I can share... http://www.imeem.com/rockmusic9/music/1Roq...wards_marathon/ Backwards Marathon by Between the Buried and Me. This is the song that made me stop what I'm doing all the time... It's breathtaking, amazing. One of my favorites for sure. Give it a patient listen all the way to the end. -------------------- Current game(s): Uh uh not updatin' this no mo
