EDIT 2:

MadMax, could you please make a little pinned topic about setting up BB for Valve Hammer? I can't do it myself (I believe that you compile BB maps in HL1 or something because BB refuses to work in the old HL) so could you please help us mappers? I'd be very grateful (screenshots are always nice). wub.gif

The things I need to know are:
- setting up the VH menu (I've done mostly myself, just can't figure out how can I compile BB maps if BB doesn't work in the SIERRA\Half-Life\ directory)
- what .wads were used in bb_heavensgate?

Answer me quick, please. unsure.gif I'd like to start bb_townsquare today. smile.gif

madmax compiled textures inside map file.You cant get em unless if he gives them to you And..

Yup, I can do a CS map but BB map is a mystery. I mean, I don't want to compile it with full detail to test if some part of the map glitches or something. You can run CS via the old version but BB refuses to work.

Sorry guys, but those things have been done before by other guys. I'll post a small tutorial on how to use the BB ents to create a map that works for BB, but i won't (and i don't have the time) create a tutorial for default mapping stuff. Sorry... but there are tons of tutorials on how to set up hammer in the web, including general stuff like setting up wads & fgd files.

I'm not asking things like "how to create a solid". I just want to know how the making of a BB map differs from CS and HL mapping. As soon as I get VH open with BB settings, I won't need anything to ask.
