Anyone seen that Monthy Python sketch?
Cleese is trying to interview someone, and starts making up ridiculous nick names. So, Edward...Can I call you Eddie? well of course. Well, Jack...may I call you Ed? o...k... Now, cutiebuns. According to our latest review- Cutie buns? Yes, you said I could call you that. No I did not! Let's not worry about that Eddiebaby, and get back to the interview. |

Drum notes are just normal notes on one line, unless it's a roll... or a paradiddle, or flam....or rim shots.... But they are all basically a normal note with add ons to it... (School Band Drummer right here!... Just FYI)... (But I also do keyboards...) edit- Oh, and if there are many different instruments being played by diff people, or a same person (Kinda like a drum set), they will have them on different lines according to sound. And (most of the time) they tell what note is which. (Usually only the first time.) Or each part can have it's own bar. Here are some pics. (this is just the first page of 4 =p) (Try out music =o) Unfortunately I don't have my full band folder with me, so I can't pull out some to show a page with multiple people playing off of one sheet. Maybe tomorrow if you REALLY want to see it =/. This post has been edited by Neiko on January 11, 2007 02:02 am -------------------- |

Thanks, Neiko
I'm willing to learn to play on a drum SET, and I always thought that to be successful in drumming, you need to know how to read it. (and, oh crap, we're going way too offtopic, I might request a mod to close this, or to keep the subject at hand) This post has been edited by iliketoblowzombieheadsoff on January 11, 2007 05:27 am -------------------- Current game(s): Uh uh not updatin' this no mo

Just one more offtopic post
DIdn't know you were a drummer as well? That makes us...4 in here, methinks? Drumming notes (at least on drum sets) have the bass drum as the bottom note, hi-hat as top note, and the rest in the middle somewhere. And there's extra signals for light or hard hits, rim, etc. |

Haha, funny picture micky
And I guess I can't stop going offtopic, let's just not drag this topic for a long time. I'm still a drummer in training, and I really need a teacher. I already can keep my left hand going(YES, I'm a left handed drummer), and make some normal easy beats. I can also play slow songs, without complex 8-beats or more. -------------------- Current game(s): Uh uh not updatin' this no mo

I used to have a picture of a penguin holding a .357 up to a zombies head, but, now I cant find it...The penguin was a little hard to make it seem like he held the gun,though....>.>Crappy paint things...Andd...um...bit off-topic,but,on GMod,how do you get the guys to look like their holding guns?Whenever I try and do it,it looks like the guy is aiming a gun that is 2 feet from his hands..>.>
