Idea 1: Stop calling him Fred ALL the time
Idea 2: Alternate Fred models, of which only one kind can be used on a givin map.
Idea 3: It's boring to use brute force to kill Fred every single time; give us some optional, hidden objectives that allow us to kill him with traps.
Idea 4: Track who triggers what for purposes of XP. Activating traps should net some XP per kill, instead of having the XP just vanish.
Idea 5: Why have BOTH single and dual uzi weapons in the game?
Idea 6: There are a few pistols that nobody uses, they can probably be taken out.
Idea 7: Crawling zombies: For when you want to creep/scare the hell out of human players with shallow water, bushes, vents, or dark rooms.
Idea 8: The minigun looks like it's chambered for .50calBMG, yet firing one bullet at a time it takes almost four times as many bullets to the head kill a normal zombie than it does with a moderate/weak pistol like the glock. Same for the flamethrower. They *should* be the unquestioned masters of the battlefield (1), and as such be very, VERY hard to get - requiring skilled jumping, quick fingers, and a hidden objective or two.

Just my thoughts and ideas, accept or ignore as you desire.

(1) The minigun should gib whatever bodypart it hits from any zombie besides Fred, while the flamethrower should just set zombies on fire for constant damage until they die and then leave a residual fire for awhile, it shouldn't kill zombies so much faster if you're hosing them down.

Edit: Gah, that's a lot of typos!

Also i created a pinned request thread, do you people not read stickies?

--------------------
This is what Ive said for the past couple months every time has requested source: BB source is highly unlikely because the mod team (Ironoak) has decided to use the crystal engine to create an rpg, although they have said there is a small chance of going to source but please, for the sake of all mankind, do not request a port and/or create polls, or even useless threads about the porting of BB, because it is most likely not going to happen, thank you for reading.

My mistake, I was under the impression that posting redundant suggestions was part of the initiation ritual laugh.gif

Sadly, unless I missed something only the "crawling zombies" suggestion is listed here -> http://www.ironoak.ch/forums/index.php?showtopic=2968

That may be, but not on THAT list. laugh.gif

New one:
Idea 8: Allow people to set voicecom volume independantly of all other sounds. (It's annoying to have to struggle to hear somebody over the chaos that comes from five people going after Fred with miniguns.)

So you're suggesting using a 3rd-party program that nobody else in the server is going to be using, and will sap additional system resources from overhead? I'm suggesting an in-game solution to an in-game problem.

Also: turning the volume down doesn't make voicecom any louder relative to other sounds.

You can set the mic sound independently on "voice". There you edit transmit and receive level.

Ah, that's true.

Well, then could that slider cover a greater scale? It's maxed and some people are still hard to hear :/
