With a little more detail outside, this can become a nice, small but really fun map. Make it intense when the zombies start pouring through the garage door. I don't want target practice, I want to fight for my life! Massive truckloads of cookies if you pull it off just right. |

You shouldn't make it outside. And once you're on the roof, the zombies will be too, shortly.

Wow when i said a building with zombies outside you took it to a new level!

If this map gets done, Ill have to reinstall steam and get crazy with these games again.

Top view of the outside area with the roof removed on the building. Still not added the extra eye candy to the outside area yet.
Inside. Mainly, I'm tweaking the lighting and adding the some of the functional stuff, like the ladders. -------------------- Still mapping away!! |

Looking good! Make sure NO room is entirely safe. The safest room should be the smallest and have at least 1 zombie spawn in it when the outside zombies start overrunning the place. This map is going to be impulse 76licious. For those who don't know "impulse 76" spawns soldiers. |

This map needs a story. The stories for my last maps were pretty lacking. Anyone up to writing one for a small map?

The brightness was ramped pretty high in the following images, otherwise, they'd be pretty dark.
I wonder if I should make this a standard BB or lms map... or just make two... hmmm... Helicopter rescue in a bb version? -------------------- Still mapping away!! |

Yeah, make two versions please! Helicopter rescue should work providing it doesn't appear until later. Cant have it in now or else it wouldn't much space to fly. The turret on the chopper would spoil things too. Leave it for extraction. Also, you're maps may lack story, but they have so many kickass objectives instead of the generic ones. Awesome stuff. I'll see if I can make a story, but I have to get my homework and my Burning Sulfur entry out of the way first. |

but itmay dissapoint me going from hl2 to hl2 based games but with a map liek dat its worth the change! I'm thinking about keeping the floor space pretty sparce. Though, I'll have some crates to designate areas where you can pick up weapons. Probably along the theme that the military dropped you off (refule the helicopter, needed to help out more civilians, whatever) and will be returning, though, not before the zombies find you.
Also, the following images don't have the brightness ramped up, so this is closer to how dark this map may be, at least in spots. -------------------- Still mapping away!! |
