im sure yall know of OMEGA 5.1, he is the guy who made police con 4 6 and 10. they are maps of the RPD. when i first realized it was an RPD map, i thought it was cool, but the maps dont have much detail and there are no objectives, so the only thing to do is walk around and shoot zombies. still fun though, but i want to create an RPD map with someone else that is much better then any other RPD map so far. ima be honest with yall, i still aint that good, but im gettin the hang of it. anyway, i wanna make this one of the best maps. i want people to look at it and think "this a damn good map". any of yall map builders wanna join up with me in this?

and i have a question about a map i got called resident evil beta6. i downloaded the whole thing, i aint remove any files from it but it says "couldnt open resident_evil.wad". and i do have resident_evil.wad cuz im looking at it right now. any idea on what the problem there is?

i didnt triple post because no one replied. the second post was to ask a question, then the third one was to try to post a pic, but it kept posting (no message) instead of the pic. they were all in a few minutes of each other. not really that big of a deal

police con 10 is aight, but when i played police con 6 i thought it looked more like the RPD. but police con 6 doesnt have the basement of the RPD and omega must have added it in police con 10. oh well, is anyone up to the challenge here? cmon, theres gotta be at least one other map builder who wanted to make a better RPD level

H.I.T is great, been with them years, but they have mods that aren't afraid to show off their power.

Never liked Police CON. The lack of objectives is irritating, and it ruins the map. The best part of the map is the parking garage area. So damn dark you get frantic. Its worse when you're on a smacktard server that was the flashlight disabled. I hope you make a better one. (I'm not an HL1 mapper.)

Off-topic: I'm starting to lose what little respect I had for HIT. They work on many projects, but don't even release them in due time. Half Life 2 has been out for a while and they still didnt do shit. Yeah ok, they finally got that Blue Shift improvement out, but that in itself is just useless. If they take 10 years to release HL:E or something, they might as well move on.

and yea, i know most people didnt think the police con maps were that great. it took me a long time to figure out it was the RPD building. when i was up on the second floor lookin down at the first floor in the main room i thought "hey, this reminds me of the RPD". then when i looked around some more, i realized it was. not much detail in the maps. police con 6 was the best i think, since the lighting is better and the rooms look a lil bit more detailed, and part out of the outside is done already. but that omega bro didnt do the basement until police con 10. and in police con 6, there were no marines
