Although it would be cool, it would be pretty generic. Too many people suggested Down With the Sickness for many other zombie mods. I personally like the song, but not for menu music. |

do you think the idea of a slide show of photo's and screenshots in-game ect is good though personally i think it pwns!

What about...
instead of down with the sickness, let us keep moonlight sonata. That fitted brainbread very well. But, we should add a slideshow of how Heaven's gate was infected. Like... alot of zombies walking towards.... A whole brigade of police and swat ready to shoot. Next pic, they shoot, shoot shoot, Nextpic, the zombies get attacked, but they kept on going. How about some really heavy stuff?
Not death metal, but inches away  Like judas priest or rage against the machine.And a slideshow would be cool. I'm not sure if it's better than an artistic picture or not, perhaps both could be included. A lot of pictures would be needed, and then I mean a lot. Zombies, survivors, guns, shooting, dying. the work. |

Fucking owned. Moonlight Sonata I think really must be kept. I wouldn't mind the menu being changed, but if there was the option to keep it classic, I'd pick classic. |

how about no heavy metal or rock songs for the menu? it just makes the game looks like its too amature, like its trying to be cool by doing what everyone else would do. make it a song thats eerie, how many horror games have you seen that feature marilyn manson or judas priest music blaring in the background while ghosts or zombies are attacking you? its better if its an eerie melody that plays. take the song that plays for Are You Afraid of Monsters? menu, that one isnt heavy metal with a break neck pace, its a scary, eerie melody.
but either way, if yer not happy with the song thats put, just go into yer bb folder, go to the folder titled "media" delete the song file there and put the song of yer choice in there and rename it "gamestartup". With HL2, one thing that you could do in place of a slide show would be to set up background maps (much like the ones in HL2) where you could have the same scenario play out, or have a desolate area of town where npcs are occasionally provoked/attacked by zombies roaming around, or if possible have the camera pan around a small map (not showing much except maybe the aftermath of a recent shootout) where the dead start to rise as zombies. Just a couple ideas.
