Brain Bread is my Favorite Third party mod so far, yet the lag is Crazy.
I know you must have got alot of theese posts in the past, but can some one please tell me how to stop lagging?

I dont expirence any lag,on my old GeForce 2,maybe its just your comp....Try D3D mode /w lowest res

D3D is bullshit...when I had my old peice of shit 32mb S3 ProSavage man....fucking OpenGL was way better than D3D....D3D is laggy and choppy and glitchy and gay.

Yeah,I Know,OpenGL owns,but on half-life it dramaticly increases FPS,trust me,I went from 15 on BB to 45-50,it may look a tiny bit worse,but its worth it,the gameplay is what matters

Okay, I did all of that. =/ Would it be better if I set my res to 600x800 instead of 700x something?

Becuse like.. The lag stopped for awhile, and it was amazing playing the game without lag, but after we changed maps the lag started once again.

do the LOWEST res its like 640 by somthting

I've done so, and yet the game still lags when alot of shooting starts. =/ I have all the sound set to lowest and i still lag.. Not AS bad but I still lag.

well sound doesent effect it,but what card do you got? my GeForce 2,did exactly what I said and I ran it fine...if you have an older one...then Omfg lol

Have you tried closing apps like Kazaa? Those kind of programs lag your game FPS and ping wise.

ah,try a program called rambooster,before starting,and google a program called "EndItAll 2.0" it closes all but nessecary apps

I dont use Kazza or anything. And.. Which one Rambuster, or End it all?

And.. I have some shitty Intel Extreme graphics card. =/ It lags with the ut2004 demo, thats pretty bad.

Rambooster,frees up more ram,and EndItall 2.0 closes all unessesary programs,really helpfull...and dude,an onboard card does suck,lol my GeForce 2,is 2000 tech,and it ran the game fine,my new 6800 how ever,runs it like a dream in opengl mode at 1600 X 1200!!!!

Will I beable to turn all the programs back on after?

and show me a screenshot when your shooting at zombies...I need to see somthing,and is Vsynch on?

I forgot to type in that fps thing, but here is me after taking a shot at a zombie ((And missing I might add, I tried to take it as I shot but I did it too slow.))
