.. is absolutely terrible.
It was cool at first, shooting a zombie - watching all the blood flowing out of it's neck. Now it's just a pain in the ***. Could you either reduce, or make a on/off button for it? It might reduce some lagg on servers also (?) Thanks for reading. |

can't u limit that by changing the gib thing on the server? I could be wrong but hey

There is a thread about this. I am not sure what section its in but i think you can reduce gibs and gore in your brainbread folder or something. Don't know for sure.

yeah thats where I read it, I'm pretty sure its a server command that does it so you can mess about with it in game and see which you like

the blood amount is defined in the .cfg files in brainbread\partsys feel free to change them.

Getting back to the thread subject...
I've noticed a lot of mods mess with the options menu. Since I doubt that many young children would play this mod, could it be possible to set the 'parental lock' to instead drop the blood amount on the headshots? nah it wouldnt.
enough people would say that its either ttoo much blood with it off, or too little blood with it on. only way to please everybody is have everybody fill in their own values in the .cfg |
