The server keeps trying to open sound files to transfer (e.g. .. 711.wav) but it keeps failing to do so. Happened on mecklenburg .. 'client error 204', kicked by server "" (unknown reason)

I think dev forgot to include sound files in the client rls .. I looked in the directory on my box and couldn't find a mecklenburg folder in my /brainbread/sound

That´s that you cann´t find anything from Mecklenburg, because it´s no map that is installed before.
Maybe you have to download this mecklenburg file from another server.
Try to do it.

download the original mecklenburg from the specialists mod, move all the models and sounds and junk to brainbread in the same directory structure, except don't copy over the .bsp file etc... I think whoever did mecklenburg might have failed to remove references to stuff from when it was a specialists map.

To be honest, its so hard to imagine mecklenburg being a specialists map, because when I played it I was so used to playing ts_lobby and matrix-style maps ..

Would I be correct in guessing that mecklenburg was a very early map for TS? Because the mapper, while he did a cool job on it, missed alot of little things .. ladders to sewer aren't transparent, etc.

In fact, for some reason, the whole map looks like it was designed for BB .. its so hard to see it being played on TS servers x_x

The map was like 6 times as big on TS....He cut it down small so it wouldn't lag on BB...and I see no problems with transparency...can you post a screenshot...

That map was actually designed for TSRP (The Specialists Role Playing) where people dont fly around blazing with duel uzis, but just live normal lives and stuff and gun fights are more realistic and meaningful.

Anyways it's a city, which would be great for BB especially since in TSRP they often play a zombie scenario where one player is a zombie and who ever they kill becomes a zombie until there are no humans left. Everyone wins, because everyone loses lol it's fun.
