Hi i just downloaded and installed the game and when it came up to where it shoudl be saved to it said steam/steamaps/<youradress>/half-life
where it said your adress i had delete it because it had < and > and now when i click the launch button i get this.  |

WTF? C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\half-life\BarinDead\hl.exe ??? Thats not right...are you sure you installed it right? It should go in
It should install to C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\Username\Half-Life\ and it puts BB in C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\Username\Half-Life\BrainBread Make sure you replace username with your Steam account name like this ex: C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\smurfmidgetninja\Half-Life\ is what I use.... |

K so i reinstall steam, then where I type in my name do i type in my steam name which is Nogert191 or my email whihc is chicken_nogert@hotmail.com

Ok when i get into the game and i try to get on the internet games it always says ur version is outdated and it will automatically change it the the newest version. Well it doesnt do it i download the newest one which is v1.2 or something then i try to put it in the brainbread file NOTHING!!!! and it does that same thing for the rest of my game types!!!!HELP ME SOON >:-(

You need to update your Hl1.Click on the hl1 icon and it will do it auto.

Steam will update Half life for you.
