That zombie sheep reminded me of the Black Sheep movie.
I love the use of color in your drawing, details and all make it a simply amazing drawing, as always. It makes me wonder...can you draw less than superb drawings? hm... You met a Dark Horse drawer you say? Do you know some of his work? Dark Horse comics are usually pretty good, so that's a good meeting you had there This post has been edited by Elite viking on March 31, 2008 10:44 am |

Thanks Elite viking, SDWBOSS,
I want to watch Black Sheep. But I wonder if I can watch the movie in Japan. We don't even have Hot Fuzz here yet! (So I ordered from Amazon.co.uk!) The comic drawer I met http://www.darkhorse.com/search/search.php...ng=Ben+Stenbeck also did a award-winning zombie short-film called "Zombie Movie". You can watch the film via STEAM or Google video. He was such a nice guy and showed me some of his works he is doing right now. These were great, professional work. -------------------- |

Hi Zombie!
Indeed that was lucky. Every student from my university had to make presentation with powerpoint, so I presentate some of my donation projects. And showed some pictures of zombies I drew on this thread. Then one of the teachers told me that her colleague's son also draws pictures of zombie. Then she took me to his workplace. Lucky me. -------------------- |

Hello, it took me a month to draw the other peace of New Zealand inspired zombie pic, somehow.
If you want to see "combined" version its here Thanks zombie, though I need study computer drawing skill to do that I guess. But I don't know how to use and doesn't even have software like photoshop. (I tried free software called GIMP, to do some texturing thing for a zombie mod, I recall. But that didn't work well.) But my sister (studying in a movie making department of a university in Tokyo) told me that she'll buy a photoshop. Hmmm... By the way guys, I'm now 4th grade of my university and I'll graduate next April I guess. After the graduation, I want to do art, I mean I want to make money out of my artworks and live by the earning. Though I (and some teachers) think Japan is not so good place for an artist who is not so famous. Most of the people don't have much interest in art (though Anime and Manga are very popular). Some have interest in art if its very famous, but most of people never buy young artist's work, they don't even go to see amateur artist's work just to enjoy art. And the government cut art and music classes from schools (to reduce the pleasures in our lives and to increase pressures of math and frustration for younglings, I guess). So I want to go abroad. Somewhere that art are more popular for everyone. I don't care about becoming famous or recognised by critics. I just want to make artworks and make enough money to live. Some teachers of mine (architectural teachers) told me that they think Belgium is good for my kinds of art. Some people on the internet told me that US, UK, France, Germany are good. But I want to have opinions from you guys. How do you think? So you should hurry SDWBOSS, or I'll be gone from Japan! (it is possible that it's cheaper to send you the pic from the place I'll live, than where I'm at right now though.) -------------------- |

Congratulations oek for almost graduating.
I think there's a bright future heading your way. Say, this is a dumb question but I will ask you anyway. What do you draw with, left-hand or right-hand? -------------------- Current game(s): Uh uh not updatin' this no mo

Thanks SDWBOSS, how nice of you to say that.
Other than drawing, I do this kind of "art" or what ever you call these. http://www.oekart.com/manstabbed4_26_8.jpg http://www.geocities.jp/oek2004/index2.htm Do you think UK will accept my works as art and me as an artist? Unfortunately, it seems there is no place to study Ninjutsu in my city, though you can study Judo, Kendo, Kyudo(Japanese archery). And we have a vacant room for you (as my sister went to Tokyo). I'm living in a city called Tottori (Tottori city, Tottori prefecture, Japan - wikipedia). It has a sand dune for the one and only place for tourist to visit. lol. Though the city now planning to re-build the Tottori castle(Tottori castle - Wikipedia) It seems there is a place to study Ninjutsu in Iga(Iga city, Hukuoka Prefecture). http://iganinja.jp/en/exp/learning.html Good luck with your exams! Thanks Zombie, As I'm planning to make things like these I mentioned above as my graduation work, I'm not sure if I could graduate "architectural department" called design department. :S I heard that left-handed people are good at sports as the connection between left-hand and sport-part-of-brain (or something like that) are closer than right-hand and the part of the brain. Though, I use right-hand to draw and write and shoot. Left hand is for walk, w,a,s,d, as I'm a computer gamer. -------------------- |

Thanks for the info Oek, I've found that Ninjitsu school on Google Earth O and yes, I think your artwork would be a hit over here, in Wales we have quite a reputation for strange artwork Thanks for the spare room offer, maybe one day we will meet face to face - I could teach you piano and archery, and you could teach me drawing and Kyudo -------------------- |
