hi!
i installed bb in the right folder(steamapps\...) and i started the game.
i wanted to connect to a server but when im on the server i cant do anything and the game crashes after a while.
in the console said s.th. like this :
"cant load hud2.spr"

i downloaded bb twice but it doesnt work... :'(

plz help me!

Did you install to.

C:/program Files/Valve/Steam/Steamapps/Username/Half life

If not...REinstall bb and set it like that.

2. You should click next or whatever it says to go to the next step. It should then say in a white box.

If so, don't change anything and click Next.

You might of not installed it in right folder, so I'm checking.

i downloaded bb 1.2 zipped in a folder.i copied the folder F:\Steam\SteamApps\<mymail@provider.net>\half-life\brainbread(so i guess its in the right folder).
the next problem is that i can read the server messege(dunno who its real named; the part were eg the server rules are posted) and then is there a misson briefing, normaly i guess there must be at the left side the boxes with those i can select my "race" but there is nothing. i click with the mouse somewhere at the left side or type eg "1" to select the race but it doesn work and after a few seconds the game crashes(it quits and im back in windows).

yeah, i run BB off my slave drive...have you tried downloading from a different mirror? maybe they got a corrupt version where they are, or maybe i'm just talking shit. probably the latter, lol

He should download from FileFront. Thats were I download a lot of Brainbread Stuff. If you have Dial Up, it should take like an hour or so. Cable Modem {Dsl} it takes like 15 minutes? It took my like 3 minutes.

try using getright,it works very good for me,a download that is going to take 1 hour,can take only 20 /w it ,with only 5 split files...I cant imagine 10

i have dsl 1000 and the reason cant be my computer.
i downloaded it twice at filefront (puplic server, not the premium servers) and now i dl it from IronOak studios, hope it'll work now..

i downloaded bb now from IronOak studios, it was an *.exe. I deinstalled(deleted) bb manualy(i get it as an folder) and wanted to run the *.exe, but then i get a new error

i will look for a new server to dl it new...
