The models animation speed affect the speed it moves in game, try hacking your BB zombies animations 3X faster in milkshape and running a server, its DOTD all over again.

Okay, about time I update this thread. I have a new suggestion for the poorly traned marines. Hehe..
Anyway, here it is. Lately I've noticed the marines don't really have a 'strategic plan' against all of the attacks. I offer this idea: I know this game isn't much based on realism but what if the Marines had an actual base of operations where they had various tents (Radio tent, armory, infirmary, etc.) That you could fall back to if nessecary. Also, there could be a mission objective having the players defend different sides of the camp until support can arrive and the marines can hold their own. In the tents, (Radio Tent): A marine sitting at the radio and making calls to other ground forces around Heavens Gate, also the location where you radio for the Blackhawk Evac. (Infirmary Tent): Marines lying on stretchers as well the Heavens Gate police officers, various medical packs could be stocked inside for players to heal. (Armory Tent): M16's, MP5's, and an assortment of pistols on racks and tables inside along with ammunition crates. (Sandbag Bunker): The main HQ 'Head Quarters' for the military, have a NPC soldier wearing a berret standing inside with a table holding a map and a few marines around him (Basically like a meeting to begin strategic tactics around Heavens Gate). (Barracks): A small sandbag construct with bunk beds inside where marines can spawn from. This is my suggestion and please don't flame my love for realism. >_< -------------------- |

i think the marines should run to the nearest marine as a reienforcement if the zombies overwhelm there position.

That thing, the base ting I mean, could make an excellent map.
A very little map, like 50x50meter map, with the base and a few things next to it. It's a hellhole, with tons of zombies |

I think it would be a really cool game mode if you had a map with a number of objectives. You have commandable marines like in OpFor and have to get a marine to each location in a sequence. When they get there, a few more could appear and they could become stationary and a bunker could appear or something, with additional ammo and healthpacks. Perhaps when you capture a point, the zombies could thin out a little between the original point and new point, although I don't know how hard that would be to code.

Redo marines. Get rid of the grenade anim. Strengthen them. New weapon + smg + shotgun Let them move, give them a maximum radius then eventually work their way back to the centre? -------------------- This is what Ive said for the past couple months every time has requested source: BB source is highly unlikely because the mod team (Ironoak) has decided to use the crystal engine to create an rpg, although they have said there is a small chance of going to source but please, for the sake of all mankind, do not request a port and/or create polls, or even useless threads about the porting of BB, because it is most likely not going to happen, thank you for reading.

The Op4 Grunts will never see the light of day on BB, because somepeople have already begun working on the source version, so hopefully you will see AI used by the combine soldiers or something like that ...
but then this brings up new ideas for other features such as actual helicopter support instead of the unsupportive blackhawk, aswell as stationary striders from a distance chopping zombies to pieces. I dunno just explaining the Benefits of the source AI, do you guys know where i can make a source topic ? |

My graphics card sucks.. Like, 38 MBs. If they go Source there will be alot more to do but I'll need to raise money for a new card and HL2. Since maps can be made bigger (to my understanding anyway) You can make a big city with the Military base in it as well Vehichle for survivors to run through the cities infected with zombies and get to the base.
