Basicly I will be realseing a bot for this good old mod soon for those 56kers out there or if you just whant to practice. Oh yea, Ill get some screens out there and some more information, if and only if the team will allow me....that is to code in bots...(Using of course HPB bot with many changes that will be done by me)

are u talking about creating bots that are integrated inside the mod, like with the Vampire Slayers mod? i have tried installing/using bots that were NOT integrated into a mod before, and found the process to be quirky at the very best. but integrated bots are easy to add, and u dont have to download/install anything to use them.

at the satrt, i couldnt see them being integrated...
If there are alot of downloads along with alot of feedback then PE may take an interest into adding them into the mod. |

Fayde: The bots are a external dll and it will come with a exe for fast installation. Also if you have any problems, you can just email me once they are realsed =).

i think fayde is getting to the point that even if you do get penemy then lose your broadband for a bit your still interested in playing, usually finding bots are hard as fuck. The thing i was mentioning was if there is enough of a request for it then it would be a nice feature added into the game at a later point(if pe had to do it) or sooner if someone else did this.

I found bots on half life really dodgey, they sometimes get stuck in a corner, because they dont know where to walk next. Like on the Canned Tuna mod, a bot normally gets stuck at that place on boot_camp, in the building near the 4 poles sticking out the ground. But you never know, they might be different on this mod.

bots can be really stupud unless they are usually coded specifically for that game but even then sometimes heh

Hello there. Ive been playing PE since the first release and i just have to say that this mod rocks. Only problem is that I cant play online that much since im on 56k so i play alot on LAN alone (which isnt fun) So i was wondering if theres any bots for PE out there?

most botsuse a system of points to navigate aroundmaps, use them on a map without points or with a badly made point setup you will quickly see the bots do some stupid stuff...
allso another hard thing to get right is the limiting of bots so that they dont see more then a normal player (rember that aimbots are called just that for a reason) and so on... |

u can not say bots r stuiped, if any of you guy/girls have played the specialist 2.0 or sven co-op you'll see that they have got bots that are better then sum of the world's top players,Also they know where there going all the time
