The map doesn't work...
Recompile with the "-wadinclude" or "-Nowadtextures" commands.

I'm recompiling now. There were no problems during beta testing and I didn't use any new textures.

I used :

halflife.wad
liquids.wad
brainbread.wad
decals.wad

Which one is causing ther error?

Well, I tried to play it the first time... game crashed and I had to restart my computer. I opened the bsp in BSPviewer and there were unrecognized textures that were not compiled into the bsp. After you updated it, I looked at it in BSPviewer again, this time all textures were compiled properly. So I went to play it, and in the character selection area, after I pick my guy and try to spawn, the game crashes again (but the textures were loaded properly :-)) Check the map for leaks or anomalies.

Damn, I'm not sure what to do. I have no compiler errors, the map works fine on my machine, and I've already playtested it multiple times with player who auto-downloaded it off my server.

Has anyone else tried it? I will look into this again today and recompile as necessary.

Okay, got it to work!
for whatever reason, my computer took forever to cache resources on that map. I can get it running now.
BTW, ITS AWSOME!

It may have been the node graph construction that was messing you up. It freaked me out at first. Perhaps I should have included them....

Well hopefully some servers will pick it up and I'll meet you out in the graveyard!

It crashes my whole computer man... I even re-downloaded it twice, it still crashes my comp.

When you say crash do you mean it hangs when you start the map? I have a feeling this is just the node graph building and it could take a very long time depending on your system. There are a lot of info_nodes in this map. I will post a version 1.2 with the node graphs included. Please test the 1.2 version to see if it crashes your whole computer.

You're probably having the same problem Omega was having.

Okay, the 1.2 version is up.

You will notice I've added a ./graphs directory containing the 2 files needed for AI pathing. They are bb_redrum.nod and bb_redrum.nrp. Make sure they end up in your brainbread/maps/graphs directory. Now when you launch the map it will no longer try to reconstruct these files.

Leaving out the graph files was an oversight on my part. It only takes about 10 - 15 seconds for them to be generated on my machine, but this could be a minute or more on

Man this map is IMPOSSIBLE. My friend and I have beaten every other map together but on this one we keep running out of time. I think it's because you have to kill Fred two times! Argh. But it's an awesome map. Those screams when you go outside are so creepy.

Cool! Thanks for playing. The feedback is really helpful. The objectives take a while I know. When I was testing it I upped the round time... maybe I should take one out?

Do you like getting the case out of the zombie basement? Muhahahaha!

I still have problems with putting the map on my server, you said it takes awhile? my game freezes completely and i know its not my comp sucking
