A bit of betatesting history - LordScottish, 2004-11-19 13:21Today our internal Beta 1.7 was released. This Beta is going to be our first release candidate! This means: tonight we are testing the Beta with a large amount of betatesters, then we fix the bugs that show up and add some minor things that are missing. After that BrainBread - MUNDUS VULT DECIPI is ready for release! Yay!
To make the waiting time a bit shorter I have a bit of betatesting history for you: 3 different movies, each one showing a different client version. Just keep in mind: they do not represent the current gameplay, the latest client a betatester filmed was 1.4. Here are the files: Beta 1.0, done by me Beta1 movie Beta 1.1, done by Overlord

Jop, the zombies are now slowly walking. And they don't pop up in front of you anymore, they stand up from the ground =)

hmm ... I saw the movies and I wonder if it could be possible to have an option "invincible zombies", where shots would only slow zombies instead of killing them ...

it will probably be released after thanksgiving. I really don't know but you can always hope ^^

@Xeno: I think the feeling you're looking for is there. In the new version you can often don't kill the zombies as fast as they stand up from the ground So running is sometimes the only solution.
I can't tell a releasedate/time, but I can say, that I finished all the missing model/skinning content today!

i noticed skill points... what atribute does skill do? and do u transform into a zombie when hp gets 2 1?

@pigu: skill points let you use some special weapons like minigun or flamethrower. And they increase the damage you do with each weapon

It won't be released in the next few days. First we'll have to do the big playtest and then distribute everything to the mirrors.
